MATO TANK DESTROYER
Hello all, yesterday I took delivery of the metal mato tank destroyer, before I go through the process of sending it
back could anyone shed any light on the issues here
1/ when switching the tank on the motors are creeping before any sticks are moved
2/there is a loud intermittent buzzing coming through the speakers it can happen when just switching on or straight
after moving a stick on the transmitter, sounds a bit like a low powered fog horn.
It has a clark tk22.
regards john.

Sounds a bit like the trim on the remote is a bit out of sorts. Try adjusting it back a bit on the transmitter. Not sure on the fog horn sounds

Re: MATO TANK DESTROYER
Is the sound pot turned all the way up? Turn down a bit and see if the engine sounds are clear... This happened to my first Clark board and without a bigger speaker when the volume was cranked up too high it would humm and sound like a droning sound a bit
Tanks alot....

Re: MATO TANK DESTROYER
I can get odd noises when the stick is not fully in the neutral position.

Re: MATO TANK DESTROYER
Hi tao, I am going to have to learn how to put photos on, just run it briefly and its very nice, have adjusted the
tension on the rear idlers but that's it for today, also the wire connecting the servo to the elevation was off,
I found the small screw holding it on in the bottom of the box.
regards john.

Re: MATO TANK DESTROYER
Good morning, Ludwig,
It would not hurt to go around the entire vehicle and check all of the fasteners. Use a drop of thread lock where appropriate. Be very careful with the application of it, also, be very careful when tightening any loose screws. Whatever process is used to harden the metal used in these vehicles makes it frangible to say the least.
regards,
Painless

Re: MATO TANK DESTROYER
Hi, you would think a all metal tank would be unbreakable, I think a lot of the white metal fittings are weaker than
the plastic ones,
