Help ID Tank
Hello all,
Could anyone help me ID this tank? Also what would this tank be worth?
Its all metal. Looks old. Not and expert so I thought I would ask the experts.
I thought it was a Heng Long and searched google for old 27mhz Heng Long but I didnt find anything that matches it.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Re: Help ID Tank
It's a very nice looking tank. Are you the owner and can confirm its full metal?
I've seen the 360 turret ring before from a fellow in Russia.
Possibly a heavily modified early WSN?
With a t34 76 turret and metal bits added
Newer gearboxes etc...

Either way it's quite nicely built. I'd upgrade the old style Heng Long radio system IMHO. Very nice quality otherwise
Tanks alot....
Re: Help ID Tank
thanks guys for your quick replies!
Yes I can confirm that it is all metal. What would be the value on such a Tank with transmitter. would you say it is worth 1.800 EUR?

Re: Help ID Tank
Good afternoon,
While the top drawer Taigen tanks are not all metal, they are superior quality vehicles with updated electronics and all metal lowers and running gear. Their T34\85 is one of their best offerings and can be had for 500.00 and under US. The Mato tanks are all metal and supposedly hand crafted. They run really well out of the box with factory installed Hobby grade electronics stock and come with or without paint to allow better owner customization. They run around 700.00 US ( a little over depending on the tank version. ) While your tank looks to be exceptionally well crafted with many touches not found on stock armor offerings today, updating it might be problematic but might also be a breeze. I would put it in the 800 - 1000.00 range right there along with the top Tamiya kits. Someone else may have differing figures but having seen a good sampling of what is available, this would be my guesstimate.
regards,
Painless
P.S. Remember, as a new member, you need to be around a bit and hit 50 posts, I believe, before trying to sell anything on the Forum.

The controller looks like the controller that came with my HL KV-1

Re: Help ID Tank
As it sits I'd say around 300 euro, and then you'd have to find the right buyer.

Re: Help ID Tank
Thank you everyone for your great info that you have taken the time to give me. I really appreciate it!
I was looking at this because I am an Auctioneer for a Auction house and one of my specialties is RC Models, but I have never seen one of these and not deal with a lot of older tanks. And since I love to learn about new things, I found your forum and decided to join and be able to discuss and learn about these models and get some inside info when I get these types. I have been Flying RC Models for over 25 years and my favorites are my Warbirds, but I will not talk about that on a Tank forum...
Thanks again to everyone and this has helped me a lot!
Dont worry, I will not be selling it on this forum, but thank you for that info, as I did not ( i am ashamed to say) read the rules.PainlessWolf wrote:P.S. Remember, as a new member, you need to be around a bit and hit 50 posts, I believe, before trying to sell anything on the Forum.
