Hi
Looking for some help please.
I got this lower hull for a Tauch Panzer III:
http://www.rctank.de/STUG-III-/-PANZER-III-METAL-BODY
It came with a quick release kit but as per normal no instructions, does anybody have one and can guide me on the fitting, I know its fitted at the rear as the release slots are just above the rear idler wheel.
Thanks
Tony

Re: Panzer III Quick Release
Greetings Whizz....Have the same hull I think lol...Taigen doesn't give instructions
...mine didn't come with any...seems they think it's simple enough that people can figure it out by themselves
What do you think of the road wheel offset ?
Good Luck

Good morning,
This shows how to operate the lock during an unboxing video and gives a view of how it seems to attach to the plastic mounting posts under the top deck. Best I could find on short notice:

Well Alpha I aint to clever at the best of times, so trying to figure it out myself is a no no, although I have tried. Not sure what you mean about the road wheel offset.
Thanks Painless I had watched the video, maybe its my old eyes but I cant see it in enough detail for it to help.

Re: Panzer III Quick Release
Tony, Hi, You say it came without instructions, All the Tanks I have bought with a quick release came with a shiny picture of the Tank, turn it over and there is a drawing of how to assemble the Lever to operate the Quick release.
I havn't looked but I would imagine that down loading the instructions for the Tank you will find notes on assembling the release included.

Re: Panzer III Quick Release
No definitely no instructions Shaun, as above I didn't buy the tank only the lower hull. Good idea though, I downloaded the manual and there is an image of it installed but still not clear enough for me to see properly and obviously as I magnify it gets less clear, has given me some idea, so trial and error looks like the way to go.
Re: Panzer III Quick Release
Sorry Tony...but if you look at the two banks of road wheels ..they are not directly across from each other...this happens because of the torsion bar set up...and yup it's a bummer about the latch set up...they really should include instructions...it's a pet peeve of manyTony Wizzz wrote:Well Alpha I aint to clever at the best of times, so trying to figure it out myself is a no no, although I have tried.
