So I push the - key to page down and then pushed 1. Gave me only one blink. Pushed 2 and got 2 blinks. The elevation still acts wonky. The recoil works great. I do think it is the servo brand. Still not sure if I programmed it right. Tank works good enough to battle. I even have the barrel smoke working. Now if anyone could tell me how to activate the smoke switch on channel 5 and port 10 on the Clark board I would appreciate it. I would like to shut it off when not in use so I don't burn up the element. I notice Stanley from RCTANKLegion puts it on its own rocker switch.

:O are you mechanically ok? what type of recoil system do you use?

Yes mechanically it is fine. The Clark boards hate certain servos apparently. I used the RCTanksAustraila 3d printed mechanism. It wasn't a perfect fit off the printer, but I was too lazy to put it into Fusion 360 to redo it so I just shaved off the front a little until it fit the Mantlet. It works smooth. http://rctanksaustralia.com/store/index ... ucts_id=34

I've burnt up a few servos with my Clark boards so if the servo is acting weird still I would try to replace it.

:( have you done a test directly on the receiver, and with the transmitter? see if there is no mechanical force, and programmed the servo course in the transmitter? I am trying to understand!!!

Maybe I don't understand what you mean mechanically? The servos work fine on the tester and with other receivers. They just hate the Clark board. They just either run erratic or buzz and get very hot. They will still run on the servo tester even after getting cooked on the Clark board once they cool down. My Tower Pro servo isn't phased by the Clark board, but 4 other brands don't behave. I am still not sure if I disabled the ESC1 setting.

Ha yes they work again on tester after having heated???

PS: disregard the previous message, am I mistaken? sorry
I don't understand why, you have this phenomenon? who is weird? I'm asking a stupid question, but you're on the right catch? I'm not questioning your knowledge? it is true that there are some capricious servos .... but still? moreover I am not a Clark specialist, but why the fact that the ESCs are deactivated or not, would change that, have you checked on the servo sheets, the existing voltage between plus and minus, 5/6 volts maximum?

see manual TK 40
the Esc only play on propulsion and turret rotation motors

I don't understand the phenomenon either, but the real recoil on the J3 was not working with any servos I had except the tower pro. The Clark board must have a very different neutral band width than what the servos can tolerate. And yes the ESC1 is active by default on the other two servo outputs unless you deactivate them. They are not PWM unless it is. The deactivating part is difficult as the sony controller doesn't really let you know you have scrolled to page 2. I should probably test the recoil servo on the elevation now because I only own one Tower pro servo that seems to work. The recoil works good with the Tower pro servo. Any other servo in my inventory and I get either nothing, spinning, or erratic behavior.
