Our friend, talking about a Tamiya? I don't know if these HL, Taigen or Mato tracks are compatible? are they looking for plastic or metal? Fibre :Herr Dr. Professor wrote:A quick web search using Google and the terms "1/16" "Pershing" "Tracks" let me to these:

Re: Tamiya M26 Pershing Kit - Missing Electronics
Thanks for the alert, Jofaur! I was thinking about sstudley's concern that the Tamiya tracks are so expensive: "I see on eBay "Tamiya" tracks are about $150.00 with shipping." I should have noted that these tracks may or may not fit the Tamiya Pershing. I would guess that Forgebear or Licmas might be able to answer the question as to whether these will fit.
A quick search here in RCTW (using the advanced search function in the upper right corner) might show up suggestions for tracks that fit.

Steve, I have upgraded Impact pershing tracks and mf/dmd set that would get you going on the for sale section.

yes, I should have been clear on what I was getting at in that post. I'm looking for metal tracks, I don't care if they are Tamiya brand as long as they fit correctly. I thought about clarifying after I had posted, I should have. Thank you for the advice! I started my Pershing build today. Look for my first post to the build log, with pictures coming soon!Herr Dr. Professor wrote:Thanks for the alert, Jofaur! I tried to post to the for sale thread, but I'm too green to post there just yet. What do you want for the DMD, MF and tracks? You don't happen to have a speaker for sale too, do you?Ad Lav wrote:Steve, I have upgraded Impact pershing tracks and mf/dmd set that would get you going on the for sale section.

Re: Tamiya M26 Pershing Kit - Missing Electronics
Greetings,
As I have stated previously this Tamiya "kit" is a partial, minus electronics and few other little things. One of the members here reached out to me, and got me a DMD unit with MF and metal tracks to boot! Anyway, I'm hooking up the electronics and I can't seem to figure out how to hook up the recoil unit. On page 31 of the assembly instructions, step 48, the illustration shows a 3 wire connector hanging from the turret and states "Connect to CN6". On Page 25 Step 33 the illustration shows the other 3 wire connector, I believe there are only 2 looms of 3 wires, lights and recoil, step 33 states that the machine gun goes to CN3 and the lights to CN9. However, the MF unit I have has CN6 labeled with "Lights" I don't see a CN9 on the MF Unit. Is it possible I am misunderstanding the assembly instructions or are there older MF Units that do not support recoil and I have bought one?
Kind regards,
Steve

Tracks look great!
Not an older dmd and mf as such as it was from a new Sherman kit.
The Sherman dmd and mf doesn’t support recoil as mentioned in an earlier pm but supports lights and elevation/rotation etc.
