FRAG Club Battlefield Pics Oct 2011

Post by Panzerpaul »

Its been a while since I have posted here but I thought you all might enjoy these shots of the FRAG Battleday on Oct 1st. FRAG is located in Denver, Colorado. The village streets and sidewalks have all been built (concrete with brick and stone patterns) and a lot of new (unfinshed) buildings have been set in place. These and others will hopefully be completed over the winter months. Another new addition has been telephone poles in the town and along the RR tracks, all made to a proper scale and size. This late in the fall, the leaves tend to drop all the time, so some of the pictures may show a few that we missed, and you may see a couple warped roofs as the temperature reached 85 that day. Mother Nature tends to be unforgiving on outdoor RC tank fields. Hope you enjoy all of these. PP

Also, one of my students (and fellow Tankers) is in Denver for a year at University. How would he go about getting involved with you chaps?

Saxondog: It takes about two hours to set up all the buildings and put dirt around their foundations, and to add all the diorama set ups and telephone poles. Before that we usually have to pick weeds or leaves from the site. So 3 hours total before we can battle. Sure wish we were inside so we could leave it all up. I sent you a PM to contact me direct. Thanks PP
