Hi Guys I am making some ammo crates for our battlefields but making in scale is very difficult as I cannot find dimensions. Does anyone have anything rough dimension wise?

Ammo crates will vary in size according to the ammo they contained and the country of origin. I have some scale German Flak 36 88mm cases, Pak 40 75mm cases and 120mm mortar cases. I am happy to measure these if it would be helpful.

Flak 36 88mm l 59.5mm x w 25.0 x h 11.7
Pak 40 75mm l 54.2mm x w 16.5 x h 11.8
120mm mortar l 46.7mm x w 22.1 x h 12.5
The latter has rope handles.

The measurement may be one or two tenths out - it all depends how hard I squeeze the calipers. If required, I can photograph the cases.

What are you making them out of, Will? One of my first projects (if the printer ever gets here) will be crates to hide electronics in trucks, and I might even try the wood filament, depending on the advice I get here.

Great info guys and that is very much for dimensions
Wooden strips, mixing sticks and other scrap wood. Little brass or nylon hinges for dolls houses or model planes. Not gone route of 3d print as yet so it more hands on scratch build

Just in case it wasn't perfectly obvious I received my order for a few thousand mixing sticks of different lengths & widths so I can build stuff for the scale RC playground hehe
