Cheap or 2nd hand TCM as first module to learn from

Post by Biasphere1 »

I can't afford an Elmod fusion Pro or Beier SFR,IBU or similar looking to buy a 2nd hand TCM that I can learn from for a decent price .
Somebody must have a unit they're not using or upgrading from or to. Unit must be in good condition, working with no bugs.
The radio I have at the moment is a Spektrum DX61 so TCM must work with this radio.
Am building an 1/6 Dragon Sherman with RC to use the TCM.
Cheers.

I am sorry but it sounds like you are asking for a "New" Tank Control Module.

Your asking that "Unit must be in good condition, working with no bugs."

Depending on how confident you are with electronics, you could try the Open Panzer TCB. Better than the other boards I've tried (IBU2 and Elmod Fusion Pro) in my opinion, much cheaper and a lot more flexible. It's currently out of production, but you can load it on a stock Arduino Mega (which are cheap) and hook it up to cheap car ESCs and knockoff sound card clones. You won't destroy anything expensive if you make a mistake! :haha:

Guys that might be better for another thread , which I would read Raminator ,thank you but I don't know how to do that or why you have to load it on to an Arduino board .
So yea a how to thread would help me, but somewhere else.
Cheers guys.
