Found Heng Long M1A2 Metal Swing Arm

If anyone by chance would have a metal road wheel suspension/swing arm for the Heng Long M1A2 I'm in need of one.

:haha: I was modifying it to accept a Tamiya road wheel axle but alias no go! I gave it a quality try but it would have been too weak at the axle to suspension arm attach point. Bummer! :thumbdown:

I was attempting it so I could use the much. much better detailed Tamiya Road Wheels. Now I will be converting the Tamiya chassis and Heng Long lower hull to mate as well as installing HL Gearboxes. :crazy:

I've looked high and low, I can't even find a set of arms for sale. Only a complete wheel set with them.

Unless Dave at forgebear or Andrew at Haya can help, even for a set of arms. It may be worth giving them a try.

Well, it looks like Andrew is away and not trading at the moment :(

Hey Mick,

I've found a "set" at RC Tank.de but with shipping the set cost is nearly $80 US, way too much for the one I need. Taigen Tanks USA had them in pairs but they are Sold Out. :(

I'll just keep hoping. :D

That's a real shame Barry.
After my little quip about making one, I took a closer look at one, not just a simple filing job sadly.
Did you contact Taigen tanks by email, you never know, they may have an odd one collecting dust.
