Cheap TCB Wanted

Post by wibblywobbly »

If anyone has a cheap TCB that they are happy to part with then PM me. I am just looking to find one to experiment with.

I have Arduino Mega boards, and only need basic tank functions, so even a breakout board (rare though they are) would also be interesting.

Hi,
it´s very easy to build a TCB by your self with a Arduino Mega:

Hi, it might be easy for you. For us, mere mortals, seems complicated, lol.
Have you planned to sell your TCBs? Is it possible to make them smaller?

No.

This is certainly possible with a baseboard and piggyback the mega mini pro.
But i am not an electronics engineer and not familiar with circuit routing program.

Could you explain what is in the photograph? The red boards all have different components on them?

The components shown on the red boards are not shown in the circuit diagram? Eg Resistors etc.

For you is the picture with Arduino Mega....
Do this as first try - you need only some wire
If this work, we talk about the Mega 2560 Mini Pro.

Many thanks, that makes sense. I just need a PWM>PPM converter, cheap to buy, and two speed controllers. I have a Benedini Mini clone on the way for sound.

The only complication is that the Torro Tiger I am going to use to test it has a non-servo recoil/elevation. I will need to figure out how to get that working.

Fit a multiprotocol module in your radio and you will have both PWM and PPM, and you can enjoy the use of those nail sized 16ch receivers.
