Re: Tamiya gearbox standoffs
They use these standoffs on motherboards for computers - though the official name for them escapes me. Still worth keeping in mind
Re: Tamiya gearbox standoffs
I have tried those and they don’t fit but thanks anyway.
It seems Tamiya use a custom hex standoff with different size threads on each end.

PM sent, Adam. Bits are in the post.

Re: Tamiya gearbox standoffs
If anyone has spares and can measure the sizes, they might be able to be sourced on Ebay/AliExpress etc - probably at a small bulk cost instead of Tamiya 'spares prices'
Re: Tamiya gearbox standoffs
I recommend you just use M3 standoffs, and install a nut on the backside (of the gearbox); or, in the alternative, use M4 standoffs and drill out the hull holes and obtain suitable M4 screws.
Probably not the first choices, but...it would work.
