I have joined a model boat club in Bridlington and wondered if any one has a rc ship /boat for sale ,I love my tanks but the boating lake looked so nice and chilled out ,so I would like something to put something on there ,would make a nice change from tanks and dinosaurs which are my first loves

Hey Clive, I have to agree model boats are very relaxing, nothing like kicking back on a nice day sailing a boat round!

Vosper Perkasa MTB would be a great Military linked project build. Think Hooben do a plastic kit aswell.
I take it you know about Fozziesyachts.co.uk For sale 7 wanted(sorry if i am not allowed to point you in right direction in case it against any rules!)
He has a site linked with Bridlington model boat club ;)
There is always stuff up for sale and they do have an RAF rescue boat currently

I come from many other forms of RC modelling and we have quite a few water projects in build aswell currently.

I'd have to have a landing craft and/or a torpedo boat in 16th. Boat could be 18th though.

Mick I don't know if it is still there but a Landing Craft build was on the Forum a little while back,
If you are interested it might be worth a quick look,
Shaun.

My calculations make it approximately 1/18th scale. Checking out an American advert, you can have a rotating front gun, if you use 3 channels. Jarndice recently had a bad experience with Hobby Model.

Thank you, I was hoping it was 18th, was less likely to be 16th.
Oh, don't worry, I already intended to find it elsewhere. I'm already fed up with eBay sellers saying they are in an obscure English/British town when they are actually in China etc. Luckily they're easy enough to spot.

It's ok, I'm not in a rush at the moment, I'm thinking I'll check what's available after I move. But thanks for looking Mr Surfer.
As for that particular boat, I'm sure I've seen it 'running' I think on a video link Mr Rainford posted, it looked very good.
