Tamiya Kubel Canvas Top.

Is there anything in particular that you want? Ask for it here and see if anybody has what you're looking for.

The Tamiya DAK Kubel comes with a Feld Marshal Rommel figure but no roof,
The European Kubel does not have the Rommel figure but it does have a canvas roof,
I would like to fit a canvas roof to my DAK Kubel does anyone know where I can get hold of one complete with fittings?

Thank you for that , My next problem is discovering if I have to spend a minimum of £116 to allow for the Taxes that would accrue while purchasing from an EU member country

I have what you need. I'm making a VW Attrappe (sp?) from the European kit, so the canvas roof parts are unnecessary. Give me a chance to cross-check the parts and instructions, and I'll send you a pm to confirm your address. -Mike

Good Morning,
He reads and responds. Almost every Build that I do over the coming decade will have Mike's touch on it through supplied parts, research kits or How-To. His Pay It Forward style has benefited countless members here on the Forum.
regards,

Like being touched by an angel !
I think he must live in an old Walmart building going by the mass of stuff he has access to !!

Quite simply Mike is a hero of this forum but not without failings I have tried over the years to pay him for his generosity "HAH" what a waste of time that was.
I want to thank him for his kindness but he won't entertain it the end result being me with a feeling of guilt and a contribution to my build that would have been much the lessor without his help.
So Sassgrunt THANK YOU

You know, I'm finding it really difficult to maintain a low-key and anonymous presence here, when people strike up a brass band and warn my victims of the junk I'm trying to foist off on them. Let's just agree to let sleeping dogs lie....

I too must chime in on Mike's generosity! From out of the blue he came, bearing gifts...with no compensation accepted, except that I "pay it forward" when possible! When I have a little more time, I'll explain in more detail! I think it's rare to find such generous people now a days, and this Forum seems to have many!

Cheers,
Eric.
