99% of anything at the curb out here, it's because it is trash, and if they have a fire ring or burn barrel, it end up in there.

as for the links, the first one just won't work as it shows nothing of the outside, it's pretty much a shadow box for dolls

i'll have to look at the others later tonight, i have to start dinner or i can't eat

just got to look at the second link, and it wouls till need to be mod'ed quite a bit starting with trying to get rid of that moden look.

i did get to see some of the pages load up for that 3rd link and i saw somehting in there of a cottage and that looks promissing (possibly 1 down 20 to go?), but will try to get the pages to load up again tonight and see what i can get from them

with some family being at the house this weekend i haven't had much PC time, but in the little time i did get, i started doing searches for Doll Houses. i still have a lot to look through (Bing searches), but it looks like i might be a good area to search........

one of the pictures led me back to this site: http://plandesignhome.com/tudor-cottage-plans/ and as you can see, the first two are of interest to me all ready, but my hopes of getting plans dropped as this page doesn't look like something where i can actually get plans to work with.

but this site looks promising! http://www.dollhouseminiatures.com/info/plans.htm i am looking at a few that would be good candidates and some that are sold out (bummer). i see some of these houses are being good for either a town or country battle scene. i do see some books (at least one of them) I'm interested in buying as soon as i can HW1005 for country and HW1002 for a town, DOL110 and some others

and now that my sister and her daughter are now up walking around, i'll have to finish looking at the search pages later tonight after they have gone home, but i did manage to find 3 more possible places for plans.....

this link is to a thread, but it looks like a few other possible leads and links within http://www.dollshouseforum.com/building ... house.html

this one i have to read up on as i am not 100% sure http://canteroyprieto.es/oei/au-downloa ... use-plans/

and this one i'm not sure if it's accessible any more, but will check it out later when i have more time http://www.frugal-freebies.com/2009/02/ ... plans.html

continuing using the my original searches led me to some other search titles and after clicking onto a few pictures, following links.......

here is a picture of one of the kinds of houses i wouldn't mind building a few of http://www.featurepics.com/online/Old-S ... 17502.aspx
as i could make some minor surface detail changes and would end up with completely different looking house. such as if i were to take the white painted surface and replace it with stone (block stone, river rock) or logs and that would give 3 building. i could also change the detail on the second floor (somewhat) as well as roofing material (thatch, cedar shingle) and get a few more variants. i could even make the second floor overhang the first by a foot or so on all 4 sides giving me another handful of variants.

the problem being, i'd like to find info on the house such as dimensions that i can work with and alter.

here is another picture http://www.featurepics.com/online/Small ... 53711.aspx that if i had info on would be usefull as i could do similar things such as what i stated above. on this i could had a different roof shape (i don't know what it's called, butrather than a single side slope, it whould have 2 angles to the roof). i could also make the doors bigger and/or make it a rolling/sliding door rather than hinged

this page is still loading for me, but the old house they show on the main page (maybe i should call it a cottage?) is also of interest http://european-old-world-house-plans.o ... use-plans/ i'll look further into this site in a bit

if anyone following this thread is near any older houses or cottages i'd like to hear from you as you might have what i'm looking for

....... i hear Falling Skys on the TV, so i have to go for now........

and just now as my last page has loaded up, i see this...... http://my.opera.com/smallcabinplans/blo ... og%20cabin
