Re: Easy & Basic House
(seems the older pictures aren't loading any more )
did you go by anything when you put that together or pretty much what ever looked good to you?
i'm looking at trying something similar but using styrafoam shipping coolers.
moms been getting these styra-foam coolers with her insulyn in them. i have a few now and until the other day was planing to make pirate looking cooler chest but looking at someone else on a large sacle diorama FB page, i got the idea of trying to use them for 1:6 scale basic pill-boxes. as these would see some really hard hits (paint balls, some at point blank range) i'm thinking of coating them with 3 layers of plaster & paris (or wet flower?) and letting that dry for a few days, then add about 4 or 5 layers of regular fiberglass to give it a really hard shell. after that (or maybe before) gut out for the view port.
if anyone has done anything like this, please let me know how it turned out.
i'm going to try one (no sense in messing them all up) in a few weeks when i get the time and see how it works out. if it works out i may try doing the same but with cardboard boxes.

Re: Easy & Basic House
I can still see the older pics on this thread.
This was purely out of my head, in fact it developed as I made it. I've tweaked it a bit since I took these pictures.

I haven't deleted the original pictures and still show for so don't know why you can't see them.
