Here are a few pics of the Fench Farm House which is the focal point of the farm complex, which now sets north of our main village. It is finally finished, painted and weathered. The complex also includes 2 barns, each large enough to hide a tank inside, and 2 brick silos (I'll have to get some pics of them at our next Battleday). And there is one more smaller building to complete, which sets next to the Farm House. I am also including some pics from last year of the total farm complex even though the buildings were not done. You can see the rear view of the unfinished Farm House in most of last years pics. Enjoy. PP

Very nicely done buildings. I served in Germany for 3 years in the 70's and their Farm buildings were always located crammed inside small villages not out in the land they where farming. Many who had milk cows even had the house and milking parlors in the same building with the barn attached to store their tractors and other large farming implements. Even knew one family that had all the farm stuff and living accommodations plus a bar that faced the street that the grandparents ran once the farm was passed down to the children . When you drive through Germany about the only thing you see in the farm fields were small equipment storage buildings and 3 level carp raising ponds. Not sure if in France the arrangement was the same.
