Wow! This takes rc tanking to a new level. Stunning. I love all the build photos as well. All the figures kneeling and hammering etc. Looks like they’re having fun until that sinister SS officer showed up.

Did you consider keeping any of the weeds? Some of them did look like scale trees, but I guess not in the way you want the Panzedrom to be presented.
well, yes and not, some are profitable if they are mow down regularly, if not, they became a nightmare of hard stems. And after so many weeks you can imagine the size...

Not that much mate, unfortunately

we now that from Wächtersbach......when its growingtime.....we also have to cut and sort our every 2-3 weeks the complet tarrain.
Good work have you done!
And thanks for the pisc, Greetz, Andy
.

yep Andy, by now, we are only mowing the ground cover of about 300 square meters with an electric brush cutter every two weeks, when the planned Panzodrom is finished it will be 3 times this area, we will see how we will deal with this!

hello Mr.Bix!

it's not really like that, unfortunately. We have been lucky with a spring dotted with regular rains, if not, a part of the plant species that we have planted would have died. We have planted species resistant to drought and insolation, or with little need for irrigation, but of course, that is like that so as long as they are well rooted, if they are young plants with little root, they should be watered more often or they do not survive, here in summer it is very hot. So, we have to water them every 3 or 4 days for the young with still a poor developed root system, the older ones could be watered every 7 days.

best regards!

hello ladies and gentlemen,

the work at home continues, of course.

time to meet Anton guys, say hello to Anton! ;D

the fourth FlaK36 position is on the bench, this time i wanted to add some variety with camo nets. I've used them on other positions, but this time i build it to slide and even to be removable if needed

I had to sew several pieces of netting (you know, made from dyed cotton bandages)

Image

also i put tension ropes interlaced in the net rims, to be able to stretch and tighten the ropes so that they can be tied to the posts. The ropes were also dyed before using them.

perimetral ropes tied to the wood poles

Image

Image

more ropes to support the netting, and to prevent the net to ungang to the crew heads and the gun.

Image

Image

with the net put in position, it will look like this seen from above

Image

from down under

Image

and from ground level

Image

the net is not finished yet, it still lacks some components

that's all today, next step is to 'populate' the position...

best regards

hello chaps

finally, some little progress on the Panzodrom, it's too hot to work there, and we usually only do gardener work...

bunker hill almost finished, we have to make some adjustment on the summit and then we will try the pigments method to change the cement color to one more 'earthy'

Image

and with the cement that was left in the concrete mixer, we covered one more section of the river, to make it smoother and without puddles and nooks, since they made cleaning the bottom almost impossible

thanks for watching, best regards guys!

g'morning chaps

a few more pics, we advance slooooooowly....

there is a place en the rivershore that has potential to do something different, as it is all cement with no riverside vegetation, it will become then a destroyed or heavily damaged manufacture plant of 'who know what' :shh:

breaking the riverbed in the said location

Image

building the foundations of the facility

Image

Image

as we already had the mold, we did some more stairs ;D

Image

we did a ramp too, just in case some crazy tank commander wants to ford the river... or maybe someday someone bring with him a schwimmwagen...

Image

Image

this factory will be built with concrete blocks and will be fixed in his place, and will accommodate a burning/smoking pit...what's a destroyed factory without fire and smoke!?

best regards
