hi chaps!

today a little report of the work's advances in the Panzodrom ;D

step by step, the light is seen at the end of the tunnel... We are already finishing the final form of the river, riverbed and its channel. Also the location and orientation of the stone bridge is done, and is almost finished the platform where will run the train tracks, the french town, and the river harbour area ...

Image

Image

the rake marks the direction and location of the stone bridge

Image

Image

Making the excavations to be able to place the concrete blocks where the bridge will fit

ImageImage

the bridge in place

Image

Image

And the most noticeable and important part in my opinion... raked 35% of the yard and that does not look like the Mars surface anymore! ;D ;D

The raked part is clearly visible and the one that has not yet been touched too:

that's all for today.

thanks for watching
Jussek

on the first page i saw Dragon's teeth, did you make them yourself? i have been wanting to make them in 1:6 for a while (now to get back to page 2 and read some more....)

EDIT

just saw them on page 4? so they are made from plaster? if i can get good info on them (drawings/specs), i am planing to make them in concrete and put a large nail in it before it starts to cure this way i can push them into the ground as these guys run over just about everything if they don't shoot/paint it (they are armed with painball guns)

hi mate

the first of them ware made with resin and already painted, but our friend who did the mould and also was working with resins is out of busines, so we are building them now in plaster, it's easier and chipper for us. On the next batch i will try to put some black colorant on the plaster so they become grey and i wil not have to paint them ;D

hi chaps

some little advance in the works of the myriad items i have yet to paint... none of these objects is finished yet

Image

Image

Image

and now, some more positions and scenes for the yard.

The second 15cm NbW41 will be towable, so the scene will represent the crew placing it in position

Image

marking the tire traces

Image

it will look something like this when finished

Image

and the last of today, the making of an observation post, with field binoculars S.F.14.Z.Gi H6400, a Torn.Fu.d2 and a map's table...

Image

right now the cover nets and their poles are drying up, next week i will took more pictures.

best regards
