Acoustic smoker speaker

Hi,

Much has been posted on this topic on the forum and various YouTube videos and this speaker seems to be the the most popular:

Aura Cougar NSW1-205-8A

I live in the UK and this speaker is either listed as obsolete or unavailable in my country.

My question is can I use any small 1" speaker with the same specs as I have noticed this particular speaker has a vent at the back of it whereas most other speakers have a magnet or metal back.

Any 1 inch speaker should do the job...I choose the aura speaker for it's small size and low price....The vent in the back of the speaker is not important for this application and the power needed is no more than 5 Watts....
