Acoustic TARR in action

Post by tao »

Rough and quick video/ but hats off to Normand who perfected this method!
Mounted the cup and speaker on top of TARR and it's rock solid performance wise.
Running off TBS Benedini and BARC (DBC) with a 15 Watt amp to run 1 inch aurasound for smoke and
FRS 7 in this case for sound. Everything sound wise plays which I think is fun to set music too:)

Just did same set up with 2 inch aurasound speaker just for fun.. it is virtually the same height
and hardly protrudes on TARR 1 and gives a lot more sound if you are going to run it singly for sound and smoke.
Mine is mounted on top but you can side mount etc. depending what the room situation is. small plastic vitamin top was the perfect cap for it. Oh moved resistor wires on top and ran though the back to give room on top.

Note one inch is a better option..two inch is louder but needs to run at around 10 volts to keep the smoke output going
on engine revving...the speaker pushes out a lot more air. Not necessary for this scale tank..the 1 inch with a second sound speaker is the best combo imo.
