Takom 1/16 M50 Ontos

Post by sassgrunt »

Just saw this today. I don't know how long it'll take for them to bring it to market, but it would be a neat companion piece for Tamiya's M551 Sheridan. https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/missing ... 31418.html

That is an interesting subject in 1/16 scale. We still need a mass produced M48 or M60... :)

I already expressed my long search for a 1/16 ONTOS elsewhere and I asked if the Takom kit might be rcable?
I await an answer with interest.

The Ontis was my favourite armed vehicle when I was young. That's a must for R/C conversion

I agree but are you willing to throw away all the interior detail to achieve it ?

Oh, excellent news. As a big fan of US and Vietnam war armour, this tank is a must have for me.

Been kinda waiting to see if DKLM releases the VT100 also since it's in the pic with their M113.

Yes. I did it with Takom's Renault FT and now I have cool small RC tank :D

I hope Takom will continue their colletion of small vehicles and made i.e Polish TKS or Italian tankettes.

It is surprising what you can do with interior parts to augment other models. A tank engine on the back of a lorry is the obvious one as are shells, and the rest.
