Scale thickness looks pretty good.

Re: AFV Modeller 1/16 Pz IV Turret "Schurzen"
I have long admired "AFV" detail upgrades especially as there is a lot of 1/16 PZ4 to keep me happy,
Of course there are downsides, The price is high and a lot of the PZ4 detailing is internal,
As to the Schurzen it leads you down a slippery path because apart from late model Ausf Gs and some training Tank retrofits it was pretty much only found on the Ausf H and J and the accurate Taigen turret is an Ausf G with ite twin hatch cupola unlike the H and J one piece,
Unlike all the other PZ4 cupolas the late model Taigen turret one is not removable.
I do not mind converting Ausf G cupolas into Ausf H or J cupolas but not in situ.
BUT Thanks for the heads up Barry, It is nice to have another choice of schurzen.
