I strongly suspect the Elephant is an RTR Hooben, I think they have had them on the Torro site for a while - I'm guessing Haya are getting theirs from the same source.

Hmm, one of the Torro.de shops showing around 3 months for delivery and 8000 Euro for the FT 17. Probably good value but also worth more than my car!

The warlsug Renault FT is the prototype as per the unit kept in the Bovington tank museum.
This means it's the wrong version for combat background.
The obvious discrepancies are:
- a totally different turret design,
- non armored front hull plates,
- a different pilot's hatch.
Though extremely expensive, I could have made an effort to come in the six scale RC world but with a correct version, definitively not this one.

And I'm desperatingly waiting for a WW2 Willys.
Because the Japanese T refuses for years to make one, let's hope the Chinese T will make it, 75 years after D-Day.

Welcome to the club... But I have some good news, I wrote clark regarding that and he might design une. Look for him in facebook under "Clark model" name, if he sees enough interest, he will release one.

Banggood are selling a 1/12 R/C Willy's Jeep right now.
What annoys me is they are selling a 1/16 R/C Land Rover when I would just like you wish it were the other way around.

It's a Defender so not much use anyway.... Now a nice Series 1 or 2 on the other hand.....
