Just seen on Wonderland models site Tamiya's Jagdpanzer IV L70 £899.00 .Sorry but just can't believe that Tamiya could even think of priceing this kit this high. Brian...
To be fair that's the retailer pricing it that high.

The RRP on the leopard is $2099 or something daft but you can still get it for £600-700 from decent retailers (less if the £ wasn't so bad). The U.K. Hobby shops have always charged silly money for tamiya tanks.

With last years exchange rates it would have been £550 from axels

Tbh it should be priced the same as the panzer IV and jagdpanther.

I for one am looking forward to it's arrival, outdated electronics and all. Where else can you get barrel traverse out of a box stock tank destroyer (non turret) unless of course you buy their Jagdpanther, or Torro's Sturmtiger. Realism of tank function is paramount to me despite the elevated pricing.

Hi,
I agree with you. Outdated yes Tamiya should really update the electronic bits yes they work well but it would be nice to see something new from them. And the jag Panther great kit but there barrel jumps up and down like a yo-yo!!!. Will I buy one!! Very doubtful basically your getting PZ IV with a new upper. So I don't think they can justify a price tag as high as £899 for a new upper hull and bits. And as of now I've built every one of there kits but 4. But it will sell very well I have no doubt. Brian...
