My Ancestors

My Grandfather Albert George Cousins, 2Btn Rifle Brigade, machine gunner. Wounded by sniper (shot through elbow) at Neuwe Chapel march 1915. Invalided from Army 1915. Worked and RAE Farnborough. Worked on Mosquito prototype, retired 1959. Died in 1967.

My Great Uncle Edward Spencer Chief Petty Officer on Destroyer HMS Laforey. Killed when HMS Laforey was sunk by U-223, 30th march 1944.

My Uncle John Cousins RASC, Served Norway 1940, Burma and Malaya. Recalled for Korea. Died 2010 age 90

Ooops forgot one.

My maternal Grandfather John "jack" Grayston tail gunner Manchester/Lancaster 106 squadron RAF. Hes the one with the pipe behind Guy Gibson.
