!
Warning / sanction action course
When you break a rule, you will be warned. Warnings expire after 183 days (6 months).

If you have 3 warnings on your account at the same time, upon receiving the third warning you will be banned for 1 month, (31 days).

Once the 31 day ban expires, your warnings will be removed and you may return as a normal member on the forum.

If you offend again, you will go through the same 3 warning system, except the ban upon receiving the third will last for 6 months (178 days).

Again, once you return to the forum after this time, your account will have no warnings attached.

If you clearly are not getting the message, and continue to offend, you will be warned again. Upon receiving the third warning, you will be permanently banned from the forum.
.

!
Admin override
Although the above warning system usually applies, the admin team reserves the right to ban / warn / sanction members as they see fit.

These rules are very easy to follow and if we all follow them the forum will become a much better place. If you have any issues please feel free to PM a moderator or admin. :D

I've updated a few of the rules...

Thread derailing
Make sure what you're posting is relevant to the original threads topic. If it's not relevant to the discussion but you feel it still adds value to the forum, feel free to start a new topic in the correct location.

Spam
Memes, irrelevant videos & images and "smiley only replies" don't belong here, don't post them.

An addition to the Flame and Troll rule was made today, 14:12:2023

"The forum team reserves the right to remove all and any political statements or comments. Thereby removing any temptation for forum disruptive arguments before they begin."

This is a Radio Controlled Modelling/Hobby forum, not a political discussion forum.
Because opinions across the political spectrum vary, which cause disagreements that can easily turn into out of control arguments. We at RC Tank Warfare have decided, with the support of many forum members, to stop and remove all and any political postings as deemed fit for removal.

The internet is huge, and contains many places that welcome such political discussions, which in turn, would remove any unwelcomed and irrelevant discussions about RC Tanks within their pages.

Thank you for your time in reading this statement.
Regards Mick.
On behalf of the forum team and many members who frequent this place to escape the detritus that the real world contains.
Mick - The grit in the underpants of life!
And always happy to spare the bytes
