Tankbear (Ian) Rc tank Electronics

Post by c.rainford73 »

Wanted to share my recent experience with Ian ( Mr Tankbear)

First of all he shipped all my items to the USA in under 10 days including the weekends.

What a wonderful person. Took the time to reply to my crazy emails ( yes I find myself near mad at times when ideas and thoughts enter my head ) and was able to make things happen as I wanted. Ian worked on helping me get a very old project off the ground and now it's almost ready to show off. I can't express how much his outstanding service meant to me.

Like many others on the forum have stated he is highly recommended.

Every time I reached out to him he responded very quickly.

I have had many positive experiences on the forum with recommended vendors and he is right at the top.

Ian you are an intricate part of what makes this forum the best

Carl

Just wanted to add to this.

After much pondering, hesitation etc etc etc i decided to take the plunge and order the IBU2U base along with a FRS7 speaker and box and a servo recoil unit as well, quite a lot of coin but my God is it worth it..........I've not received them yet but the dedication to service to his customers is without comparison, I'm happy to have paid just for the service and the knowledge that there is some outstanding traders out there in this internet driven marketplace that still provide that good old fashioned level of service.
Ian is a credit to what he does and I look forward to ordering from him again soon on my path to future builds.

I'm just left wandering if Tankbear (Ian) and Forgebear (Dave) are related in any way. Their websites "bear" a resemblance to each other as also does their fantastic customer service!

Thanks again Ian for all your help so far.

Dave

We are very lucky on this forum to have such great vendor's as members on here, as already stated their service and helpfulness goes above and beyond especially to newcomers into the hobby as the technical side can seem a little daunting at the outset, in my own experiences they have all answered questions exceptionally quickly and advice always given freely, thanks guy's

Cheers, Lee.

New customer of Ian's but he has provided great customer service despite me having issues with my TARR unit and proportional control.

Answers emails out of hours when you have that burning question that needs answering, proper job Ian!
