Ok, I didn't get an order confirmation etc and days past by, emails sent and thoughts of 'oh god what have I done'! Got an email back from Kin apologising for the delay but he had been busy taking elderly people etc to get vaccinated!
Kin then proceeded to send the tank via UPS at no extra cost to me.....sent on a Monday and with me on Tuesday. How good is that?

I don't think I've ever bought from Tankzone, so this isn't a criticism of them, but I'd say the good service there was from UPS, collecting and delivering a parcel inside 24hrs. The upgraded postage I would say is pretty standard when companies have taken longer to post things out than normal, unless previously advised that there may/would be a delay. It's certainly the norm when I buy parts for my car.

First of all, I would like to apologize for necroposting.

TankZone are shysters.

Two years ago I ordered from them a Torro Waltersons MFU for a T-34.

Two weeks went by without any contact from them, no reply to my email and their phone number was disconnected.

I then contacted PayPal and managed to secure a complete refund.

I unknowingly ordered two, Taigen/Torro tanks from them via eBay, A KV-1 and a Tiger.

I only discovered that it was them when I read the paperwork that was sent with the tanks.

Upon arrival, both tanks stank of damp, both batteries were completely dead and unusable even after attempting to charge them and the bearings were missing from the bottom of the Tiger turret.

I emailed Kin Con, to be told that I was mistaken and that the Tiger turret doesn't contain bearings, (er, yes it does) and he refused to replace the batteries and asked me to return the tanks.... Which I didn't.

They're con artists whose "stock" isn't even in this country, they know nothing about what they are selling and they are totally averse to customer service.

TankZone seem to have gone completely quiet. I need a Clark TK40 and emailed them four times with no response so I have had to purchase elsewhere.

shame they used to be fast and not bad on price.

Ever since I joined the Forum I have been warning people about Tankzone and it's perceived failings and here we are people still moaning about how badly they have been treated when the warnings from me and many others were there to be read,
If you won't take note of the warnings please do not expect any sympathy from me.
And if you want a CLARK board then why not try our own MAXMEKKER who will provide a positive experience backed up by lots of help
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
