Taigen Tiger 1 binding issues
Hoping to find help on here as I'm a complete noob to all this.
Bought a Taigen Tiger 1from Tankzone which came through the post today, have read instructions ,watched YouTube vids but cannot get it to bind with handset. Lights on tank just continue to flash.
Any help for a rather frustrated noob would be very much appreciated.

Hi, Have you got new battery's in your transmitter ?
have you got a fully charged battery in your Tank.?
I Don't know too much about Binding Taigen Control Boards but I do know that some Taigen Boards have a Binding cable and if you do is it in the proper socket and the right way round?
And are you carrying out the process in the right order?

Re: Taigen Tiger 1 binding issues
Well it came from Tankzone with a bit of paper stating that all the functions had been tested before it shipped out.
New batteries in transmitter and battery in tank fully charged yes. No idea about a binding cable but yes I'm doing the process in the right order as far as I know. 1.Pull machine gun sound toggle switch towards me. 2.Turn transmitter on. 3.Turn tank on within seconds of turning transmitter on. 3.Red light on transmitter flashes then goes stable. 4.Turn machine gun switch back off. 5. Turn engine start switch on.
Nothing happens, headlights on tank continue to flash.

Re: Taigen Tiger 1 binding issues
If I remember correctly once the Tank is bound the Headlights should steady,
The sign of a battery needing charging is flashing headlights.
I would put the Tank battery on charge so that instead of taking "Tankzones" word you are sure it is charged.

It's been charging for 8 hours and still does the same tho I'm abit suspicious of the adapter plug that enables the two pin plug to fit UK plug sockets!!

Re: Taigen Tiger 1 binding issues
This wont help your problem BUT the Heng Long/Taigen chargers are rubbish and I would recommend you buy a decent charger,
That will allow you to charge any type, Ni-Cad/Ni-Mh/ Li-Po/Li-on/Lead Acid et al and much quicker and far safer.
They are readily available for about £30,
Money well spent.

Go to ----
www.componentshop.co.uk
And look at what they have,
They are a reputable dealer and will happily supply all your electronic needs and will even put a different plug on a battery or cable at no extra cost so you dont have to rely on the Tamiya fittings,
Good prices and lots of helpful advise.
Recommended.
