spektrum ??
Hi, I have tried and used a variety of radios in boats and cars, really cheap 4 channels , planet 5 and 7 , earlier this year I purchased a spektrum dx6i is it suitable for tanks please?
Re: spektrum ??
I use one, no issues. Also run a planet T5 for some.

Its ok, indeed I have one but I use it for flying because it does not have a rotary control so that you cannot control the volume of the sound chip remotely.
I think I am about to upset someone
Re: spektrum ??
Turn it to full volume and leave it there

It's a very well made Transmitter, and it's also fairly easy to fit a backlight to it. There's a kit available online. You'll also find a Youtube vid on installing the backlight, and others for altering settings (including stick/toggle self-centring etc..) You'll need the self-centring feature for Tank use. The user manual explains how to set that up, as well as how to switch stick functions around.
