Well taken the plunge into the world of HG models …

Got the MRAP just before Christmas but was really looking forward to getting the Patriot missile system.

HG P804 & 805.

Started on the radar truck last night - my 1st build in a very long time.
Comes in large box with two trays of parts which all seem very well organised. Though the labelling doesn’t always match the plans so already had to search parts bags.
Only spent hour or so on the truck bed so far so a long long way to go.

Oh, a Hengguan RC Patriot missile battery in 1/12 scale. It's a rare, very big kit, and very expensive. Thank you for showing the build here for our enjoyment.

When I bought my HG-P803A tipper I was made aware of the forthcoming Patriot system which suggested it would retrofit my tipper do you know whether that is true ?

The system fits the same as the flatbed trailer through the fifth wheel. Have that attachment should be ok.

Day 2 - only hour free today started putting towing end on and then plating went down. Finished with the start of some small fittings.
Some idea of size the radar antenna placed on top for size.
Hopefully a little more tomorrow if have a chance, looking at the manual starting on the leg fittings next.

Day 3 yesterday - E clip fun!

Starts the fittings for the legs. - got one done fully and rest of mounts made and fitted to truck bed -
Day four night off as out

After a few more nights of work now near time to fit electrics and hopefully start last few bits.
