Hi,
have decided to move on and trying out a "bigger" scale.
Redesigned my 1/16 Hetzer for 1/6 scale.
Most of the hardware is here
JGB37-550 - 12V and 260rpm.
It seems to be very suitable.High torque.
It will be attached directly to the drive sprocket.
No belts, chains etc...
Comparsion with the JGA25-370 for the 1/16 Hetzer.
MG995 servo for the gun.Machinegun will be equipped with the same 360° servo like 1/16 version (FS90R)
Have printed some parts too.Photos will come soon.
Whole vehicle will be printed and assembled in some 2 weeks, i hope.

Assembly guide is almost finished, basicc STL files are ready.Just need to print this test vehicle.
Model will be ready like STL files for print or like a full kit (soon).
3D printer with at least 350x350x350mm buildplate is needed for print.

This is great news. Will there be a upgrade price for us that bougt the 1/16 version

Here is a working version of the Assembly guide for the 1/6 scale.
All changes between 1/16 and 1/6 can be seen there.



I dont know why its so big - 250mb, working on that.
Lots of bugs there (have a new version of the Assembly, but its not exported to PDF.working on this every day)

Some of the biggest news are parts 01-13A to 01-13F and new system of the machinegun installation (04-43 to 04-47).

Its going fast.Have some new pictures.

Comparsion with the 1/16 White color is PET(G), black is ABS.Excepting gun.Gun is printed from white ASA.
Have rifling inside.Need to do some good pictures of that.
Have prepared this 7kg of PET(G) for the big body parts.
Going to start printing them tomorrow.
Test run of the gun assembly coming soon.
Have picked screws for the whole vehicle in the local hardware store.
It was about 6€.
Almost all bearings are here, just waiting for the 624zz.

Still playing with the files.Making optional/alternative files right now.
Have something new for this 1/6 version - there is one new alternative version for the upper hull - NO_HINGES.
This file is very usefull when you want to print big body parts without problems and little details.
There are no hinges on the upper cover, but they are printed separately.
You can print this big part much easier thanks to this.

And, as can be seen in the assembly guide - there is no type B gun.
Just one, with overengineered servo arms with bearings.
There are alternative files if you dont want to use servo arms with bearings, so you can use simple screw instead.

193 STL files are generated right now.It will be available for download before christmas.
