M5 to M3 Conversion

M5 to M3 Conversion
I started working again on Cory's Stuart conversion yesterday. I made a pair of breather filters then realized that I had used pictures of ones on a model and not of the real Stuart so will have to remake them in the correct version. I hope to have the new ones fixed tomorrow and will post the pictures of the correct ones
Here is the plumbing item from Home hardware that I used for the main body of the breather canisters

Re: M5 to M3 Conversion
Good Morning,
This looks like the 1/6 scale version. Very, very nice work! My next build is to turn one of the 21st Century Stuarts into a real RC tank. Following along.
regards,
Painless

Re: M5 to M3 Conversion
The base tank is a static 21C 1/6th scale tank
Re: M5 to M3 Conversion
That's one heck of a lot of plasticard ....It'll be nice when it's done....though I might be bias just because it's my favorite variant

I bye my sheet styrene by the 4'x8' sheets, much cheaper that way. This sheet used is 1/8th" thick

Re: M5 to M3 Conversion
I have been admiring this Tank on youtube. It's a shame photobucket decided to hold everyones photos hostage. Do you have any photos you could upload directly? I'm considering turning an M5 into an M3 myself. Sorry for reviving an old thread but i'm only just getting into one sixth scale tanks and need all the advice I can get.
