Cheers Painless the final aim is to have a turret with basket and fighting compartment below. I still have a solid turret base and ring so can build conventional as well.
It’s all slow progress step by step

A few photos of the progress so far, slow but happy with how it’s going.

A few more pictures of the Stuart, still slowly adding weld lines and bolts. I have added some cast numbers and made my own version of rear stowage box which needs hinges and bolts to finish before paint. Armorpax turret detail kit added which adds weight to the turret and tank as a whole.

It's beginning to look like a real Honey (pun intended :D )
I saw Milliput in an earlier pic, is that what you used for those tastefully executed weld lines? It's a product I use a lot, in any event, and one I can heartily recommend to those who've not heard of it.

Mr Aljones34, this is looking rather good  It's really quite tempting to acquire one of these.

Roy, for welds, do you use the fine or standard Milliput?

Milliput 'White' (superfine grade) for well-engineered tanks (German); but would go to yellow-grey (Standard) for anything Russian. :D It's a very forgiving British product, that gives ample time to even the most cack-handed to get some sort of acceptable finish with.
Sadly, it doesn't work on facial weld-lines. :|

Thank you Roy

I often see it on sale at my local hardware store, they have both types, super fine and standard, which is quite convenient.

That's a relief it doesn't work on faces, no worry about the missus pinching it
