Re: heng long watch tower
Well this kind of construction could be cheaply made of wood But if HL will start new line of scenery, it would be great. Cheap Czech hedgehogs would be nice. Now available pieces are crazy expensive (20 EUR for one piece).

Re: heng long watch tower
Well, me & her indoors haven’t been seeing eye to eye recently, so sorry for the delay.
I haven’t used any glue on the assembly, I’ve just slid it together, as I plan to do it justice once my workshop is finished.
All the bits
Step 1a
Step 1b
Step 2
Step 3
Step 4
Step 5
Step 6
Step 7
Step 8
And that’s it, done.
It’s nice and robust but comes apart easily if you need it to.
The only thing that lets it down is that all the tree trunks used around the guard compartment & the roof are the same size with no variation, but this is easily fixed by using some real bits of wood, twigs etc.
There is plenty of room inside the tower for a search light, stove machine gun & quite a few figures should you desire, you could even animate them with servos & led’s.
Overall it’s a cracking value for money model & even Adolf likes it
Thanks to Dave & Julie for letting us know this exists
Cheers
Wayne

Good afternoon!
This thing is almost a necessity to have out in any Tank Laager. I agree with Lee, a little adjustment and add on of some balsa wood 'logs' and you've got some thing there. ;o)
regards,
Painless
