Re: Norwegian rctank / Maxmekker
Good morning, Max,
I've almost completed Mikes Tiger and will be starting that M36-B1 next. That MATO tank comes with a TK22 board I think. That's a good board I hear but also I see that the TK24 offers a few more bells and whistles for almost the same footprint. What kind of electronics trouble would I be looking at to swap out the TK22 for a 24? Will I need a different TX and Receiver as well?
regards,
Painless

Should be a direct swop . what you could do is ship the tk22 back for an tk24 uppgrade @ 30$ at Clark. A good step up in sounds , and I would say it is probably worth itPainlessWolf wrote:Good morning, Max,

Max,
So the Mato supplied TX and RX will plug into the TK24 and it will 'see' them? I need to get a comprehensive TX that will work with RXs in different vehicles. A six channel, I would imagine so that I can add lights to Tamiya tanks, etc. Max, I could use the MATO TK22 and RX in one of my older tanks that needs an upgrade from the HL and basic Taigen boards. I would rather just buy another TK24 and RX ( and possibly a TX ) whole from you. It's Tax Return season so lets talk price. ;o)
