Can anyone identify the small appendages just below the escape hatch’s on either side Imagethe turret ?

I suppose they might be the lifting lugs when the Turret has to be removed.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

They are door retaining catches for when the machine is in motion with doors open.
they are set to low on the H/L Pz III and Pz IV's though.

Think Your correct on the positioning of that door retainer it certainly does look to be set to low compared to this picture of a real ImagePz III

Aussie!! Do you know what you have done?
A lot of us will now be wielding craft knives chopping off the wrongly placed door retainer and fixing it in its correct position,
