Found a piece that I had nooo idea what it was,saw in the instruction manual for my Panzer III that it was supposed to go on the left rear of the engine bay.
Anyways having no clue and realized by drilling a 1/16 deep hole in the end of it it would at least in my eyes make a perfect mount for the antenna I just HAD to have on my Panzer......

Well then in all their infinite wisdom HL shoulda labeled them so we knew what the hell they are, such as that strange looking gizmo on the inboard side of the left fender or wing in the British vernacular.

Hi, The PZ111 had two MGs one in the radio operators Position beside the Driver and a Co-Axial MG in the Turret alongside the Main Gun,
The "Gismo" on the left fender is the "NOTEK" Light which is simply a shielded front light also found on the PZ4 in the same position.

I am nowhere near as knowledgeable about the PZ111 as I should be,
I usually fit an MG34 on the SCHUMO MG Mount on the PZ4s Cupola But I am not sure whether the PZ111 had the same arrangement,
I am sure that wiser heads will tell us the facts.

If you are after the location of the aerial I do know that the location for some variants of the PZ111 was in the same position as the PZ4s when it was mounted on the right hand side of the Body above the jack and below the turret.

This type from MATO will work on the PzIII cupola. The Gurt sack can be found at a couple of different resin vendors and the little mount for it was scratched out of leftover brass sheeting.

Hello again,
Sharing the same turret cupola as the Pz IV and with the increasing Allied control of the skies, I would have to believe that they did use the MG34 in an anti-aircraft role. Here is a shot of the mount from a PZIII in Bovington.

Like my *for sure I have seen it in a pic* MATO style idler on the M36B1, more research will be required. I have to go grill for the Holiday meal but will check back in to see what you have found. *bows*
