Thanks to a phone call from Forgebear, I have managed to kick the spammers into touch. I'll keep the new posts open and try and get any more that appear.

Good catch Rob!

Must admit i got worried when people started telling me the forums been "hacked" when its a spammer! Hacking implies they've broken into the system to access data, spammer is just somebody (or a clever bot, but unlikely an automatic registration with our security questions) who registers an account and posts a load of rubbish! A nuisance for sure but a real hack would mean they'd broken in to steal peoples data etc!
