Here is another tip the Tiger 1 turret sits high. If you have chopped up the upper hull and the turret lower to fix the out of true rotation this helps.
Remove the protruding ring on top of the hull , replace with doughnut piece of 0.6mm styrene circle or near enough and its at the correct height.
