PANTHERS

Post by Nic.H »

Hi..I have a couple of books now on this subject....and I realize a lot of these books are still wrong....when you delve deeper, oh you will!......there are discrepancies only you will see after a while, but overall they are good ref books.....

Panther variants(osprey)...is ok, good ideas for paint
Modelling the panther tank....(osprey)not so good for large scale..its all about 1/35, again good paint schemes
Tanks in detail/panther(johnathan forty)..lots of errors, his discriptions/or variants are way out sometimes
Panther in detail...by culver and feist.....no probs so far and very good close up pics for the keen eye
Panther tank...by thomas a jentz, another exellent ref book, plus good pics

Overall....for real detail...the last two books.........but they are the expensive ones!....so you see how I worked up to them, because if you really want to know more, they are the first two books that give you the variant edge/detail/ie, a d e f g...with good pics and production details...
