Good evening,
a colleague of mine is looking for books on the Battle of Villers-Bocage and about Michael Wittmann.

Do you have any suggestions about it?

Regards, Fabio

Fabio Hi,
The stories about Wittman and the battle of Villers-Bocage are so different from each other that finding any book that could be described as "Definitive" is highly unlikely and at a time approaching 80 years anyone who was involved in the battle is going to be over a 100 years old,
Certainly British authors are a lot less kind to Wittmann's target selection and his success in destroying them than American and German writers.
There are some good histories about Michael Wittmann including his initial exposure to armoured vehicles as a commander of a "Stug" on the eastern front.
I would just Google "Michael Wittmann" and see what you get.
