Try posting a few of the illustrations in them, for our delectation.
They might prove useful too. I'd suggest pics of the Sherman, Cromwell, Comet, and Churchill if you happen to have them

I would highly recommend the Tankart books by Michael Rinaldi. They are full of great details and also show the product's used to achieve them. I have 3 of the original release titles, book number 1 is German armour, number 2 is allied armour and number 3 is modern armour
Cheers, Lee.

Before this publication, Lee, I'd often been amazed at the jaw-dropping skill some armour cusomisers/enhancers have displayed. Indeed, we have several maestros in our ranks, here on RCTW.
But, I'd never thought of the results as 'fine art' (don't abbreviate that term
).
Here's evidence, though that the results are every bit as much 'Art' as the stuff found in galleries.
I wonder if the mysterious
'Banksy' could be prevailed upon to try his hand at my Jagdpanther, perhaps..

There are some fantastic examples of 'Tank art' in these books Roy, they are so finely detailed but after all they are static model's which do not get handled much or run! I think for rc a balance of practicality over finish is more important as not many people would want to see their 20 hour paint job running through a muddy puddle
Cheers, Lee.

Now here are another two that arrived today , lets see if if they help to improve my basic paint skills.
- A dusty Tiger 1
- Colour variations for camo
