Good Morning,
I've seen these on the 'RC' T-34\85 brought out years ago and noticed the other day that Trumpeter still had them in their plastic detailed kits. Makes for a nice touch especially if someone upgrades them from a plastic piece to working metal or leather. ;o)
regards,
Painless

Putting my KV hat on , I need to point out this is a 'restored' vehicle . The hull is OK for a 1940 model but the road wheels and tracks are late war 'stalin' types as are some of the swingarms , the turret is a bit odd too - it lacks the small 'box' at the rear of the turret ring and I have never seen a photo of a KV2 with applique armour - the series was over weight already . A very nice attempt though !

What I found interesting was the bolted rear hatch on the turret. Now I have to ask, referring to my Torro KV-2 captured version that has an opening hatch, was there a hatch on the rear of the turret when the Soviets made this tank or was it something the Germans added?

The Torro turret is the later style , with a pz 111 cupola added to make a ' beute ' , the rear hatch is correct for this version .
