Hi Guys
After last year i am definitely returning to Dortmund in 2020 for another spectacular show, anyone else on here going?
https://www.westfalenhallen.de/messen/f ... -2020.html

I thoroughly enjoyed it last year and took hundreds of pictures and video and the entrance fee is more than acceptable considering the size and various models groups on show. The military arenas and dioramas were great and was really good fun to watch.

I will be going over with my wife and or father and meeting up with some German friends of mine.

NOW 12-16th August after being postponed due to some virus thingymajig
So all being well lets hope this Corona Virus passes quickly and has as low an impact as possible.
Stay safe out there, maybe something for us to look forward to the other side.

Get them on the curry and make sure their partner is giving them a good service and it pop out earlier. Can't have you being given orders not to go pfffft.
Sorry i know it is a family forum, hence why i spared the details!

Take the Overnight-Ferry from Newcastle upon Tyne to Rotterdam - the easy Way. ;D
From Rotterdam it takes arround 3 hours to Dortmund.

Just looked, £530 return on the ferry! The return is costing a bomb as they either fully booked that weekend or not running.
Rather spend the money on fuel to blast with haha

Nice idea, i remember that for future.
I am estimating 5 tanks of fuel in total to do the journey, 70litres a tank, £140 return on eurotunnel. Also means return journey will come back through Belgium and checkout some WW2 sites before train home.

Just need to be careful not to get caught whoooshing it a little
