Re: NW Tank and Military Vehicle group meeting
What a great day out! We had a very good attendance AND we were graced with Wayne's monster tank build!
Tom got his Centurion
Mark brought along his amazing DUKW build
Some of Wayne's truck builds ( pm him if interested for a price ) - I've even got sponsorship
Nick in deep concentration
And now a roll of drums for the star of the show - Waynes awesome 1/6 scale T35A
George taking a close interest
It's hard to appreciate the huge scale of this tank from the photos
A brilliant day out and many thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the event

Re: NW Tank and Military Vehicle group meeting
Thank you so much guys, I had a great time. And my grandson said he had a lot of fun, (please thank the non forum members for humouring him). Apart from running his heng long bulldog around in my back garden, that's the first time he's run his Sherman, and he loved it.
And an extra thanks to Tom for letting him run the Sterling T26 tractor, although we had a laugh seeing Tom panic when the lad shot off with the Super Pershing still on the back, oops
Yeah, was a good day

Driving back afterwards, he did say that was one of his highlights, not scaring us, but driving your truck

Re: NW Tank and Military Vehicle group meeting
A very good turnout and an excellent day out (except for poor Pam - Georges wife who had the garage door fall on her)
Nicks very interesting Iraqi Enigma tank
Thanks to everyone for coming and most especially to George and Pam for their hard work in organising and setting up.

That 3D printed monster is indeed a monster, each time I see a pic of it, it looks bigger than ever. Good to see the Hyde venue up and running, there is a certain atmosphere about the place that I always liked.
