NW Tank and Military Vehicle Group 5th August meet

Post by AlwynTurner »

Thanks to the efforts of George Barnes we have the use of the old Scout Hut in Hyde for monthly get togethers of those interested in building and running their tanks and military vehicle models.

A few of us meet up on the first Sunday of each month and swap information and advice on our tanks and models, plus we have a carpet and a small amount of scenery for running tanks and models around.

Our building has full kitchen facility's and toilets.
Tea and coffee is free to all members and is provided by our club.

Hot and cold food is available from the shop at the end of our club building driveway.

Doors open 10.00am
Doors close 5.00pm
Entry fee £5 for Tank commanders. Free for your family to watch.

Sat NAV info
Knivton street Hyde Manchester SK14 2PU

So are there now two clubs? I have to admit that the scout hut has character, and I could pop outside for a smoke! It is also within an easier travelling distance so I may pop up once the summer traffic on the dreaded M6 has gone.
