I did a search but found nothing. Has anyone converted the HL Sherman from a 105 to a 75? Thanks.

Yes, but it wasn't covered on this site. What would you like to know?

Thanks Tiger.

What upgrade manufacture provides a compatible system for the HL 6.0 Sherman? Is it possible to do a BB recoil barrel?

(ADMIN) you can move this post if you like.

ah, can't help with HL electronics or mechanisms - mine was built with Tamiya guts.
I kept all of the gearboxes, but binned the BB gun and fitted a Tamiya Pershing recoil unit mounted on its side (I think) using the remains of the bb gun housing to attach to the turret and provide the slot for the elevation unit to engage with.

Makes sense. I have a Taigen 76 and was thinking along the lines of swapping the barrel. Taigen has a 75 complete turret but I need to confirm compatibility with the HL system and upper. Thanks Tiger.

I'd suggest reaching out to Forgebear if you haven't already, he might know or at least be able to help?

I remember someone once using a metal Heng Long Panzer III barrel for a more accurate size.

But that won't help if you want recoil along with BB firing.

Mato also do a low bustle 75mm turret of which I assume will fit onto hl because I used the mato a1 76 turret for my a3 76. I don’t use the standard electrics though

Thanks guys! All great directions. I may be limited in what will work and have recoil but it's worth a try. That and the availability and cost of shipping seem to be a new challenge. I will post any progress I make.
