Sherman exhaust

Post by 761st »

I had been disappointed with the lack of exhaust smoke coming from both my HL and Taigen Sherman. Had a brilliant idea. Slide heat shrink over the exhaust, cut to size and run them through the baffle. However the baffle is solid no vent openings. Today the dremel will come out.

No wonder the exhaust smoke was invisible.

I ended up building an extended box that reach the stock tailpipes. Added a small plate just inside to disperse the smoke as it comes out the diffuser.

It's about halfway down the page.

Later (page 2) I ended up making a template to make my own diffusers and ended up making several.
