3DP FT-17 Coming
Great to know we have something different to look forward to in both 1/10 & 1/6 scale. I've been pining for a large scale F-17 ever since seeing Warslug's but was not about to drop the $$$$ they wanted. Can't think of any other tank more worthy of modeling given its design impact & use over the early half of the last century.

Lubos recently posted a sneak peak on his website. Am not sure what version but the screenshot looks to be an M1917 or another version with metal idler. https://www.3dprintedtanks.com/english
I personally know of a 1/6 Renault FT underway from France that will be released later this year. Knowing firsthand of this designer's work - am building his 1/25 Holland S1 & following with a 1/6 2CV - it will be a beauty.

Keep it coming, Sailor. Your scuttlebutt is usually spot-on, and anticipates all new developments

Nah, Lubos' news just passing along with I was told from a friend over at Farcebook. Learned today his files should be released late next month.
I did get a a glimpse of the 1/6 work & its coming along quickly, must faster than I had expected.
Now if we can only get someone - Attracks, are you listening? - interested in offering some metal sprockets & track.

Lubos is moving fast & already on his 3rd proto testing suspension.
I reached out to Attracks to begin lobbying for the vaunted metal upgrades. Match that up with a slow speed gearbox combo & you're all set.

Updates from Lubos' work on his pending 1/10 FT-17. Files are expected to be wrapped & released very soon.
You can see all screenshots here: https://lubos71.rajce.idnes.cz/Renault_FT-17/
Several of us are already lobbying to follow with a Mark IV or a later French tank such as an R35.

Thank you for more information, Sailor. I am watching and dreaming, but this year the house and my body are saying, "I'm getting old. I need fixing." Dreamily, I wonder if there are printing services that, given the files or the right to use the files once, could print one of these in good quality.

Here's update posted overnight by Minialand of his 1/6 suspension work of his first assembly test. Lots of detailing needs to be done to get closer to Lubos' level.
To give you an idea on the size, here's a screenshot & link from Baiyin Wu's Studio painting a Warslug FT-17.

Am sure you can find some local sources who can do the job. Here's a guide to the supposedly best around online providers:Herr Dr. Professor wrote:Thank you for more information, Sailor. Luckily for me, I am surrounded by many 3DP services who print on an industrial scale so will be sending out the parts for printing. Body panels will be SLA resin for highest detail, running gear & support parts FDM in PLA+/ASA. I'll be more than happy to let you know the cost for reference. Given the design & ability to flat pack this as a kit, it may be cheaper to have printed here & sent by China Post.

?? , ?? ! What a fast reply, but, then, there is a bit of time zone difference. That must be 1/6 scale in the man's hands! Wow! I have copied the link to printing services and will keep it, if only for my dreams.
